Dear Colleagues,

The Institute of Positive Psychology in Novi Sad, within the framework of the project “The Curious and Flourishing Schools: Positive Education in Building of Character Strengths and Virtues”, and the Dr Lazar Vrkatić Faculty of Law and Business Studies are organizing an international scientific-professional conference “Positive Psychology and Mental Health”, which will be held on September 21, 2024 in Novi Sad, at the Dr Lazar Vrkatić Faculty of Law and Business Studies (Bulevar oslobođenja 76, Novi Sad).

 

Conference working languages: Serbian and English.

 

Participation in the conference (active and passive) is free of charge. The conference is of a hybrid type - it is possible to follow/present a paper live or online.

*The process of accrediting the conference with the Institute for Improvement of Education is underway.

 

Plenary speakers at the conference are eminent experts:

-      Prof. Dr. Roy F. Baumeister, psychologist and president of the International Association for Positive Psychology, USA;

-      Prof. Dr. Vesna Petrović, psychologist and psychotherapist, Serbia;

-      Prof. Emeritus Dr. Majda Rijavec, psychologist, University of Zagreb, Croatia.

 

Oral presentations on the topic of positive psychology and mental health are also planned. Papers that link these two areas are welcome. Therefore, we are pleased to invite you to take part in the conference in the form of an oral presentation.

 

Symposiums and round tables are also planned. The detailed program is in the process of being prepared.

Abstract Deadline: July 20, 2024

Abstracts must be submitted in both Serbian and English. Abstracts should not exceed 2500 characters (including spaces) and must include up to 5 keywords.

All submitted abstracts will undergo a peer-review process. Abstracts that receive positive reviews will be included in the conference program. You may present your paper live or online.

Oral presentations are scheduled to last 10 minutes.
The author can be the first on one paper, and on a total of three papers. A symposium can consist of a minimum of three and a maximum of five papers.

A book of abstracts is planned. A full proceedings volume will also be published electronically (full paper submission deadline for the proceedings is December 31, 2024).
